The Convention for the Protection of Individuals with regard to Automatic Processing of Personal Data (Convention No. 108), opened for signature in Strasbourg on January 28, 1981, and entered into force on October 1, 1985, was signed by Turkey on January 28, 1981. Accordingly, the Law on the Protection of Personal Data was published in the Official Gazette dated April 7, 2016, and entered into force. 4- To Whom and For What Purpose Personal Data May Be Transferred
