Unlike conventional budgeting, ZBB requires every expense to be justified from zero. Through rigorous cost analysis and cross-functional collaboration, we uncovered millions in potential savings — over 70% of which were realized.

We conducted a Zero-Based Budgeting (ZBB) & Cost Optimization Project for a gas processing plant, aiming to establish a cost-conscious culture and improve financial discipline. Unlike traditional budgeting methods that adjust previous budgets, ZBB required a fresh evaluation of all expenses from the ground up, ensuring every cost was justified.
